Richard Owen Wynegar

Richard Owen Wynegar, 55, of Baroda passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in Saint Joseph.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, with Reverend John DeVries, officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Memorial contributions may be given to the family. Richard was born on January 22, 1970 in Niles, the son of the late Richard and Susan (Close) Wynegar. Richard graduated from Berrien Springs High School where he enjoyed playing football. After graduation he took some classes at college, and then worked as a security guard at Robert Bosch in Saint Joseph, the D.C. Cook Nuclear Plant in Bridgman, and the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo. Most recently he worked as a cook at the Willows Nursing Home in Saint Joseph. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his sister, Kathleen Wynegar; and brother, Robert Wynegar.
