Funeral services for Mr. Rick Barthol are scheduled for 10 AM, Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Phillip McCready officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5 -7 PM at the funeral home.

Rick, a resident of Wilmot, AR and a professional duck guide, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the age of forty-five. He was saved and baptized at an early age and was unashamed in his faith in Jesus. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed being around people and sharing in fellowship with family and friends. He had a special relationship with his dad and mom, and leaned on them greatly in these last few months. He worried about his little brother, and his family. He loved his nieces and nephew more than life.

He is survived by parents, Ricky and Kay Barthol; brother, Heath and Morgan Barthol; grandparents, Shirley and Fred Montgomery and Louise Barthol Petty; nieces, Marlee and Maddie Barthol; nephew, Nathan Barthol; and a host of friends.

Those preceding him in death were, grandfather, Jack Barthol; and step-grandfather, George Petty.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Dustin Crymes, Joe Burns, Colby Daniels, Lester Langley, Andy Long, and Lee West.

Rick's family is overly grateful for the love, care and concern for their loved one, that has been abundantly evidenced over the last few months.
