Harold "Rick" Mayes, 64, of Moulton, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 at Burns Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Moulton Memory Gardens with Archie Letson Sr. officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Born on September 20, 1961 to the late Dee and Dorothy Hardin Mayes, Rick is survived by his sisters, Janet (Archie) Letson, and Ramona Simoneaux; his best friend and fur baby, Bella; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Marsha (Dillard) Tidwell, and Pam (Jimmie) Simms.
Pallbearers will be Harold Mayes, Rocky Mayes, Rowdy Mayes, Ronald Mayes, Brett Garrett, and Chris Simms.
The family extends special thanks to Harold and Carol Mayes, Rocky and Rowdy Mayes, Larry Oliver and the nurses and staff at Burns Nursing Home for all their love and care shown to Rick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s's Children's Hospital.
