Rick Suba

Richard "Rick" Suba, age 65, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on December 25, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Rick was born on January 30, 1960, in Hammond, Indiana; a son of Hazel Mae Wiser.
Rick lived a full and meaningful life marked by curiosity, connection, and love for others. He found joy in listening to music and dancing, and he deeply valued thoughtful conversations about life and religion, always eager to share perspectives and listen in return. He enjoyed watching the news and staying engaged with government and current events, believing it was important to be informed and involved. Movies and time spent with his family brought him great happiness, and he took pride in protecting and caring for those he loved. Known for his warm personality, he never met a stranger, loved talking with people, and had a special gift for telling stories that brought laughter, wisdom, and connection to everyone around him.
Rick is survived by his life partner Gina Basile; his children Hannah Basile (Luke Oster), Michael Wentz, Christopher Wentz, Ricky Suba; his brothers Marty Suba, Ronnie Suba, Perry Suba, and Michael Suba; other relatives and many friends.
Rick is preceded in death by his mother Hazel Suba; his sister Debby Suba; his brother Joseph Suba; and his brother Randy Suba.
Per Rick's request there will be no formal service held, and the family will respect his request and hold a private family celebration of life.
