Rickard Kyle Deese, 75, of Mooresville passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at his home. He was born on January 26, 1948, in Mooresville to the late Bob and Cynthia Perry Deese.
Mr. Deese was a veteran having served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed traveling, college and professional football, working in the yard and spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Bateman Deese; brothers, Billy Deese, Bobby Deese.
He is survived by his children, Robin Baker (John), Jonathan Deese (Sheena); brothers, Michael Deese, Roger V. Deese (Anai); grandchildren, Nicholas, Parker, Elijah, Patrick, Brayden; great grandson, Jackson Deese.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Marvin Goodnight officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Salisbury National Cemetery with military honors.
