Rickey Alford Obituary
Mr. Rickey Gene Alford, age 66 of Franklin, KY passed away on April 14, 2025 at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will follow visitation at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Rickey was born on April 18, 1958 in Franklin, KY to the late James Wilbur Alford and Josephine Yates Alford. He is also preceded in death by his siblings: Kenneth Alford, Danny Alford, Jimmy Alford, Brenda Hyde, Vicky Alford.
He is survived by one daughter, Misty Mejia of Bowling Green, KY; four granddaughters, Hali Williams, Secia Navarro, Annaya Marin and Alanna Marin; longtime companion, Jean Carter of Springfield, TN; one great-grandson, Adriel Spainhour; four sisters, Barbara Byrum, Faye Cantrell, Debbie Carver and Wanda Dailey. ; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a retired maintenance technician of the Franklin-Simpson Housing Authority. Rickey enjoyed riding around the country and loved being with his many friends.
