Rickey Morris Epps Sr., age 66, of Richmond, departed this life on October 8, 2025.He is survived by his wife, Verda Epps; one daughter, Shawntrece Christian (Zachary); one son, Rickey Epps Jr.; four grandchildren, Vyzhaun Roberson, Zachary Christian Jr., Rickey Epps III and Emery Epps; two sisters, Toni Jackson and Renee Young; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law, Dr. Linda R. Jordan (Minister Dennis), Angeline Goode (Christopher), and Gail Wright (Minister Richard); other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Epps can be viewed on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 1:00pm. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Friday.
