Rickey Homick

Rickey Homick, of Hopewell Township and formerly of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2025. He was the son of the late Mike and Olga Homick.
Rickey proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he built a fulfilling career as a truck driver before his retirement.
For 47 wonderful years, Rickey was devoted to his loving wife, Kathleen Homick. Together they created a beautiful life filled with laughter, resilience, and family. He was a proud father to his son, Steve Homick, and a loving father-in-law to Kayla Homick.
The true light of Rickey's life was his two cherished granddaughters, Ava and Kelsey Homick. He treasured every moment spent supporting them, teasing them, and watching them grow. His genuine pride and joy for them was undeniable.
Rickey enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought him peace - casting a line into the water on a quiet morning or sharing a round of golf with friends. His humor, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
