Ricky Andrew Arthur, of Edgar Springs, MO, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at the age of 72.
He was born on March 9, 1953 to the late John Arthur and Mary (Walker) Arthur.
In addition to his parents, Rick was also preceded in death by four brothers, Gerard Arthur, Joe Arthur, Anthony Arthur, Donnie, Arthur; and two sisters, Susan Dunn and Linda Stimel.
Rick was a true sportsman at heart, with a competitive spirit and a love for the game that followed him throughout his life. In high school, he proudly played baseball, and football, building friendships and memories that stayed with him long after the final whistle. He continued his athletic journey playing Fast Pitch and later Slow Pitch Softball, never losing his passion for the field. Off the field, Rick found joy in the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying the peace of nature. He had a sharp eye for a good deal and loved the thrill of yard sales and trading, always wheeling and dealing with a smile. Rick's energy, humor, and love for life will be missed by all who knew him.
Rick will be sadly missed by his surviving family which includes: his son, Jeremy Arthur and wife Amy of Rolla, MO; daughter Rachael Hayden and husband John of Columbia, MO; three brothers, Mike Arthur and wife Kay of Lebanon, MO, Kenny Arthur and wife Lisa of Rolla, MO, Tom Arthur of Rolla, MO; and six grandchildren, Isaac and Abbey Arthur, Moraeah Arthur, William Hayden, Luke Hayden, Madix Arthur, and Kinley Hayden.
A private family burial will take place at a later date at the Macedonia Cemetery.
