Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hewett - Arney Funeral Home on Oct. 1, 2025.
Ricky Allen Ingle, age 63, of Salado, passed away at his residence on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born in Bakersfield, CA on the 3rd day of December in the year 1961 to parents Edward and Roxie (Quick) Ingle.
He graduated from Wasco Union High School in Bakersfield, CA and went on to further his education and earned some college credits as well. Ricky would move to the Salado area in 1981. He went on to work as a superintendent at Wolff Construction for over 40 years. He had a very strong work ethic and was very thankful for his "amigo" Bryan, with whom he shared a great friendship with throughout the years.
Ricky was affiliated with Amity Brush Arbor Church; he loved his God and was a very devout Christian. He was always happy and full of joy for his life and family. They meant everything to him. His favorite form of greeting was "Howdy" and always had a friendly smile when with his friends and family. Ricky rode his Harley around the countryside taking in God's great bounty in nature, he loved to go swimming and hunting. Ricky saw beauty in all things, whether it was outdoors or in collecting items he found intriguing, he would just add to all the others that he found that added to his joy of life and all of God's creations. One of his favorite sports was Nascar racing, he loved watching Kevin Harvick, always saying Happy Harvik, Happy Ingle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronnie, Ira, and Jimmy.
Ricky leaves behind many who loved him, his son Ricky Jr. and Chad Ingle of Temple, daughters Brittany and husband John Fudge of Belton, Breanna and husband Kenneth Garcia of Bakersfield, CA. He also had stepdaughters Jessi James of Temple, Jamie and husband Jason Lawrence of Temple and Ksee Ashcraft of Temple. Ricky was very blessed to have 31 grandchildren and also 7 great-grandchildren with whom he loved with all his heart. Those whose lives were touched with knowing and loving him will always miss him, but he lives on in their memories and now is resting with his God above.
