Rick was a member of Lake Valley Golf Club for many years where he enjoyed golfing and playing Texas Hold'em with the members.

Rick loved his family and friends very much. He was an avid CHIEFS fan, and he and Jo would even watch Chief reruns on Sundays during the off-season. He was a true pet lover and his puppies, Tator Tot, and Zeke were always by his side. Rick loved playing trivia, especially for the Dogwood Animal shelter. People loved to have him on their team because he knew most of the answers.

Rick was a quiet soul, always kind, never said a bad word about anyone, and never complained about anything. Rick left a print on the hearts of his many friends and family. It was a life WELL-LIVED!
