Ricky L. Miller, age 66, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, with his family at his side. He was born on August 19, 1958, to the late Lester R. and JoAnn (Drake) Miller. He was a 1976 graduate of Montpelier High School.
Ricky proudly served in the United States Navy, where he dedicated himself to his country with honor and commitment. His time in the Navy was a significant and cherished part of his life. While in the military, he met the love of his life, Adelina Miller and they were married on August 1, 1979, and she survives. Ricky also worked in safety and security at Sauders for 29 years, a testament to his dedication.
Ricky was a die-hard Green Bay Packer’s fan, cheering them on since the age of 10. He also loved to watch cooking and competition shows whenever he could. Ricky was known for his great cooking as well. However, his greatest joy came from the time spent with his family, who were the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He will be remembered for his humor and devotion to his family.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Adele; sons, Dennis Miller and Rodrick Miller, both of Bryan; sisters, Susan (John) Gearhart, of Montpelier and Stephanie Studer, of Quincy, MI; 10 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Terry Muehlfield; brother, Tom Miller; and sister-in-law, Tessie Nelson.
Visitation for Ricky Miller will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Funeral services will be held immediately following, with Pastor Steve Rath officiating. Military honors will be presented by the combined Bryan American Legion/V.F.W. Honor Guard following the service.
