Mr. Ricky Lee O'Neal, age 66, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on January 26, 1957 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Louis and Mamie Brooks O'Neal. He has resided in Jefferson County most of his life. On August 26, 1973, Rick was united in marriage to Sherry Lynn Kinman at the Locust Baptist Church. This happy union of nearly 50 years was blessed with one son, Israel and one daughter, Amy. Early in life, Rick worked for Kawneer Plant, Stop & Save, The Steer Restaurant, M&T, and Dayton Walther. Rick also worked for Reliance Electric for over 35 years as a machine operator until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, boating, and woodworking. Rick loved working in his yard, working with his pony, Silver, and playing with his dogs, Daisy and Dixie. Most of all, Rick loved spoiling his grandsons and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa. Rick died on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 7:01 p.m. at his home in Madison, Indiana. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute
A LOVING FAMILY
Rick will be missed by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Sherry Lynn Kinman O'Neal of Madison, Indiana; his son, Israel O'Neal and his wife Crystal of Edinburgh, Indiana; his daughter, Amy Fields of Madison, Indiana; his grandsons, Damon O'Neal, Ryan O'Neal (Angelique), Brady O'Neal, and Walker Lee Lucas; his sisters, Pam Sturgeon of Plainfield, Indiana, and Patty McClure and her husband Mark of Madison, Indiana; his brother, Kevin O'Neal and his husband Greg Jewell of Louisville, Kentucky; his half sister, Janet Hamilton of Louisville, Kentucky;and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis O'Neal, July 11, 1997, his mother, Mamie Brooks O'Neal, died December 26, 1984, his brother, Michael O'Neal, died October 16, 2020, his sister, Donna Wilson, died May 22, 2011, his half brother, Louis O'Neal.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 12, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., by Pastor Mike Cammack at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Brooksburg Cemetery in Brooksburg, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
