Ricky “Rick” Dale Riedel, Sr., 57, of Weatherford, passed away on Monday evening, April 2, 2018, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 8, at the funeral home. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
Rick was born July 10, 1960, in Norfolk, Nebraska to Junior and Martha Riedel. He enjoyed fishing and was known to always be available to help those in need. Most of all, Rick cherished time spent with his family.
Rick is survived by his sons, Ricky, Jr. and Nik Riedel; step-daughter, Audra (Chris) Hardy; his grandchildren, Caraway, Riley, Kammi, and Loralei; step-mother, Melba Riedel; and by his siblings, Randy (Cindy) Riedel, Cindy (Raymond) Garcia, Danny (Sharron) Riedel, Rodney (Leah) Riedel, Steve (Le Ann) Riedel, Kenny Riedel, and Becky (Lance) Wiggs.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Vicky.
