Rilla Jordan Obituary
Rilla "Wanda" Jordan, 93, of Quincy, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Sunset Home in Quincy, IL.
Wanda was born July 20, 1932, in Chicago, IL to William and Katherine (Echols) Brannon. She was married to David Jordan, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her three sisters, Edna Pearl Raja, Marguerite Vivirit, and Mary Alice "Teeter" Thomas; one brother, Gregory "Ricky" Wallace; and many nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Donald Wade Brannon and Lester Brannon; and two sisters, Frankye Jean "Dinkye" Cox and Judith "Judy" Ann Davis.
Wanda worked in food service at the Illinois Veteran's Home from October 1978 until she retired, December 1998. Wanda enjoyed music, dancing, and above all, being with her family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veteran's Home Activity Fund.
