Rita Aldridge Obituary
Rita Annette Aldridge, 74, of Byhalia, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Autumn Woods Memorial Park.
Rita was born on July 1, 1951, in Cleveland, MS. Rita was a crafty person and enjoyed doing smaller crafts such as wood cut outs or creating things for around the house such as ornaments. She adored dogs, and fostered and rescued many throughout her life. Rita also loved her family and especially had a soft spot for her great grandchildren. They will all miss her greatly.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Henson Palmer and Dellendar "Rudy" Palmer, and brother, Jerry Palmer.
Rita is survived by her husband, Wayne Aldridge of Byhalia; daughter, Amy Archer (Don) of Byhalia; son, Chris Aldridge (Rachel) of Byhalia; eight grandchildren, granddaughters, Amanda Vasquez (German) of Olive Branch, MS, and Katie Archer of Byhalia; grandsons, Ryan Archer of Olive Branch and Christopher Aldridge, Jr., of Byhalia; bonus grandchildren, McKenzie Essary (Jay) of Slayden, MS, Chelsey Brock of Byhalia, Emma Sharp (Noah) of Oakland, TN, and Sierra Brock of Byhalia; two great-grandsons, Alex Vasquez and Caden Vasquez of Olive Branch; two bonus great-grandchildren, Jake and Millie Essary of Slayden; sister, Brenda Lackey of Batesville, MS; brother, Roger Palmer (Sandra) of Olive Branch; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in Rita Aldridge's name to the Olive Branch Animal Shelter (662-895-4582).
