Rita Ellen Alsup

Rita Ellen Alsup, age 70 of Georgetown, Texas passed away March 24, 2015. She was born August 26, 1944 in Madison, Wisconsin to Paul and Mary Ellen (Pepin) McKinnon. Rita graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire. She was an educator for Salado Independent School District for 7 years before her retirement in 2014. Rita was a member of the Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Andice. Survivors include her son, Patrick Alsup of Charlottesville, VA; daughter, Angela Alsup of Georgetown, TX; grandchildren, Andrew Alsup, Devin Alsup, Emery Alsup, and Breece Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Alsup. Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held privately at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Williamson County Animal Shelter.
