Rita Boitnott Obituary
Rita Boitnott age 72 of Rocky Mount passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 15, 1951 a daughter of Shirley Martin and the late Amos Hale. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Wayne Boitnott; and her fiance', Kenneth Songer.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Stump Martin; special friends, Dave and Teresa Patterson; her precious feline babies, Sammy, Mama, Frankie, Johnnie and Mandie. She is also survived by her beloved family at Bojangles including the Arrington Family and her crew at Plateau Plaza.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 1 to 2 PM at Conner-Bowman. Services will be private and her final resting place will be next to her son in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke.
