RITA E. CORNIELLO

1924 - 2020

RITA E. CORNIELLO (nee Pawlicki), age 95, of Medina, passed away peacefully Monday, February 3, 2020. Rita was born March 12, 1924, in Cleveland to the late Anna & Bruno Pawlicki. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 71 years and high school sweetheart, Frank Corniello; sisters, Adeline Polcyn and Isabel Pawlicki and brother Bob Pawlicki. She was a resident of Seven Hills, OH for 45 years before moving to Medina in 2007 to be closer to family. Rita is survived, and will be dearly missed, by her loving children: Diane Corniello, of Medina; Kathryn (Robert) Bulka, of Medina, Donald (Cynthia) Corniello, of Brunswick, Susan (Thomas) Boyne, of Kentucky, Kenneth (Lynn) Corniello, ofTexas, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister, Grace Furcello and brother-in-law Ross C. Furcello along with many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020, from noon - 4 p.m. at Waite and Sons Funeral Home Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court Street, Medina. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2020 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 East Washington Street, Medina. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brook Park Road, Brookpark.
