To the Dublin Family, may God bless y'all and strengthen at this time of bereavement.
Rita;
I will truly miss our talks, laughs and lunches together but the memories will be forever. It was truly a pleasure in knowing you my friend & my co-worker.

Sympathies and prayers are extended to the family on behalf of the Highland family (originally from Taylortown, NC). Our mother, Mrs. Flossie Ingram Highland, and Rita's mother, Mrs. Ruth Caldwell Dublin, were childhood friends and dear friends until they passed away. Aunt Ruth was our sister's godmother. Our "hearts are heavy" and we pray God will strengthen your hearts and keep you day-by-day during this difficult time. Peace, joy, love, and blessings, Beverly, Richard Harold, Rose, Judith, Bonnie, and SSgt. John (US Marine).

To The Family(Loving Daughter and Brother, and Family),
My prayers and thoughts are with you all during your time of bereavement. May The Lord Strengthen And Keep You Close To Him. Rita will certainly be missed for she was very Dear to me. I always loved conversing with her and hearing her laugh in our conversation. She Was Very Sweet And A Down To Earth Person. A Person Who Everyone Could Relate To. To Be Absent From The Body, Is To Be Present With The Lord. God Cares And Knows All About It. God Bless, Brenda F. Bryant, Co-Worker, NC Commerce, Division Of Workforce Solutions, Raleigh, NC.

I was a former co-work of your mother. My deepest sympathies during your time of loss. Please know my thoughts & prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that Rita is now resting in the arms of our Lord.

To the Family of Rita Dublin...
Dear Rita,
It seems like yesterday when I met you at UNC-Charlotte...we lived in X-201 Smurf Village and had a ball...You were my big sister and I definitely needed one...You managed to peel back my layers and we bonded for life...then we got separated...I left Charlotte with my first child and missed you...Fast forward to 2010 when I went to work for the state in the Smithfield ESC and during a training session I found you again...We picked up again having children and re-living our time and UNC-Charlotte...I will miss you...I miss your voice at the other end of the Raleigh Office Phone...I would say good morning or good afternoon "Sunshine" and you would respond in kind...
My condolences to the family...rest my friend and you know you don't have to worry about anything anymore...Take a somber for I will meet up with you again...

My condolences to Rita's Family and love ones. As a classmate, Rita will always be remembered for her smile and easy going nature. It seems like just yesterday; we were all enjoying our years at Smithfield-Selma Senior High School. Truly; it is hard to say goodbye to yesterday.
With sincere sympathy,
