Rita M. Gamber (nee) McCabe. Rita, passed on peacefully Nov. 7, 2025. She was born in Phila. on May 15, 1936, to Mary and Christopher McCabe. She was a loving wife to Robert (Bob) Gamber for 46 years. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Bob; son, Robert (Rob) Gamber Jr and her sons-in-law, Jess Lenz and Bruce Sabat. She is survived by her daughters, Patti Lenz (Jess), Mary Schaffer (Gerald), Eileen Sabat (Bruce); grandchildren, Jerry Schaffer (Danielle), Christine Schaffer, great grandson Nolan Schaffer and many nephews and nieces. Rita was a devoted wife, mother, Mommom, and Gigi, and was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. After raising her children, she worked at the Atlantic City Country Club for many years. Once retired, she enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Florida. Nobody loved answering spam calls more than Rita. She also loved watching judge shows and QVC. She loved making her great grandson laugh by making funny eyes to him at the dinner table. Rita will be deeply missed by her family. A Visitation will be 10:00 am, followed by a Mass, on Friday, Nov 14th ,11:00 a.m., at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Rd, Northfield NJ. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, or a charity of your choice.

Patti, Mary & Eileen I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Gamber was a good friend to my mom for many years. She would always be there for my mom after my dad passed. I'm sure there was a big reunion for Bob, Rita, Jack & Lucille!
