RITA GLASS Obituary

RITA C. GLASS, 98, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, July 28, 2022, in Fort Wayne, Ind. Rita was born to the late Elmer and Catherine Bobay on April 22, 1924 in Fort Wayne. She was a member of St. Vincent Parish. Rita is survived by five daughters, Ellen (Al) Brunson of Fairborn, Ohio, Cathy Glass Tomlinson, Carolyn Fraizer, Maureen Crockett and Ann (Steve) Long of Corunna, Ind.; son, John (Diane) Glass; sister, Dorothy Drew; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Rita was also preceded in death by her husband, James E Glass; sons-in-law, Dave Crockett, Mike Fraizer, Dave Tomlinson; siblings, Jack (Sally) Bobay, Betty (Jack) Schroeder, Jim (Audrey) Bobay, Tom (Joan) Bobay, Mary Ellen (Bob) McDonald; brother-in-law, Norm Drew; grandson, Marc. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
