Rita Halverson

My condolences go to Phil, Jesse, Chris and Karissa and all the extended family of Rita and Phil, I am sending love, healing and prayers to help you get through this difficult time.


Rita has always had a loving personality, she would do anything for the people she loved and even strangers. When I first came out to Arizona she was like a second mother to me, I will always cherish the memories I had with her like going trick or treating on Halloween even if we were far beyond the acceptable age for it to be socially acceptable. Rita had that New York spark, she could be a firecracker but also silly and would joke around, she had the heart and personality that can be rare to find in the world these days. She truly loved with all her heart, and just wanted everyone around her to be okay and happy. I will never forget the love and kindness Rita showed me when I needed it the most. Me, my dad (Gerald) and Jen will always love you Rita!
