My first memory of Mrs. Rita Jacob is due to the fact that I had left a bag of mangos at her door. Picked from the tree at our apartment. I had dropped of mangos to several apartments and I wanted to remain anonymously. Mrs. Rita would not hear of it. She wanted to say thank you and insisted that the building manager give her my number so she can thank me. That is how she was. Always wanted to show appreciation and kindness. We hand many good conversation from that day on.

I will miss you my friend. Sweet Sleep.

Dear Mr.. Jacob and family,
I am deeply sadden to hear of the passing of my friend. How my heart sorrow when I think of how I am going to miss her. What a good person she was and I was always inspired to do good after talking to her. What I like most about Mrs. Jacob was her fairness when she gave her opinion. And she had no tolerance for injustice or wrong doing. She wanted the best for her family and friends and she cared about them. She was up front and honest, She was a true friend. Mrs. Jacob always appreciated even the smallest act of kindness and she was so giving. I was looking forward to show her how well I had cared for her plant and how big it has grown. And to talk with her giving update on what went on while she was away. I am still in shock as I was expecting her any day in Freeport. And to the family, we hurt deeply, I hurt deeply and I am thinking of you and sending you prayers and hugs.
