Rita Krocker Obituary
GARRETT - Rita Marie (Bock) Krocker, 99, of Garrett, Indiana, a faithful servant to God, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.
Rita was born on June 22, 1924, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
In her youth, Rita had worked at the Fort Wayne Telephone Company and then at Garrett Flexible for 17 years.
She loved music and enjoyed sharing her talent with her family. Rita also enjoyed singing for veteran's organizations.
She was a loving mother to five children, Judith (Sue) Krocker, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Mary (George) Wilmore, of Garrett, Chris (Tony) Januseski, of Garrett, Michael Krocker, of Walkerton and Theresa (Kevin) Huelsenbeck, of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marie Green; and brother, Edwin Green.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service starting at 1 p.m., at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main St., Auburn.
Burial will be held at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Memorial donations may be made to DeKalb Humane Society.
