Rita Pamela Lamarre, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, Alabama, where she was surrounded by family and lovingly cared for by her daughter.
A celebration of life will be held at a date and time to be determined. Details will be shared with family and friends as arrangements are finalized.
Pam was a proud member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion in Kaplan, where she gave her time and heart to a community she deeply cared about. Her warmth, her love for her family, and the way she made everyone around her feel at home will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Hebert and her significant other, Riley Landry of Kaplan, Jennifer Himel and her husband Nick of Semmes, AL, and Samantha Chautin of Carencro, Louisiana; her nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Randy Stinnett and his wife Nancy of Saint Albans, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael E. Lamarre and her parents, Carroll and Gene Stinnett.
