Friends and family may visit at Gallagher Funeral Home Ball, Louisiana on Saturday October 4, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm. Funeral services for Ms. Rita R Leonard will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Pastor Vance Curtis officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Ball, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Mark Leonard, Brandon Leonard, Dereck Trimble, Scott Robert, Aaron Stedman, and Paul Jones. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Stedman.
She is preceded in death by her husband Sidney P. Leonard, one son Freddie Leonard Jr.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Trimble of St. Martinville, Pauline Robert (Scott) of Elton, and Mark Leonard (Phyllis) of Alexandria; ten grandchildren, Janet, Katherine, Dereck, Craig, Byron, Darren, Brandon, Sherrie, Meghan; fifteen great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild; and four great- great -great grandchildren.

Pauline and family I am sorry to read of your mom passing. I remember when she and Mr Paul lived behind you in the trailer. She was so sweet and giving. God bless your family at this time and in the future months to come.
