Rita Neubauer

Rita Elaine Neubauer, age 83, of Blue Earth, formerly of Wells, MN died Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth, MN. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells, MN with Fr. Greg Havel and Deacon Gene Paul officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Face masks must be worn and social distancing will be observed. Interment will be in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery in Wells. Rita Elaine was born December 18, 1936 the daughter of Omer and Mary Alice (Temple) Doyle in Walnut Lake Twp., Faribault Co., MN. On November 6, 1957 she was united in marriage to Robert Neubauer at Our Lady of Mount Caramel in Easton, MN and to this union four children were born. Rita was very proud of her Irish heritage and honored to be Mrs. Shamrock for the Easton St. Patrick's day parade in 1995. Rita was a longtime active member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, the CCW, St. Bernadette Circle, and the Wells VFW Auxiliary. She loved gardening and cooking for her family. She crocheted many blankets and afghans for family and also donated them to fundraisers. She loved her family and will be remembered for her quick wit and welcoming smile. Rita is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Neubauer of Blue Earth, MN; children: Carrie (Jim) Munsch of Sioux Falls, SD, Dan (Jackie) Neubauer and Bryan (DeeAnn) Neubauer all of Wells, MN; grandchildren: Andrew (Shelley) Munsh, Jaime (Matt) Bukrey, Jenna (Austin) Winberg Brandon (Kristen) Reese, Kyle and Kelly Neubauer, Hailey and Nick Neubauer; great-grandchildren: Alana & Levi Reese, Greta, Elsa, Inga, and Willa Bukrey, Ivah and Jude Winberg; brother Robert (Rose) Doyle; sister-in-law Dawn Doyle; many nieces, nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Dan Doering; brother Frank Doyle and brother and sister-in-law Dan and Jean Doyle.
