Mrs O´Brien was my second mother and because she wasn´t responsible to correct or discipline me; the only thing I ever received from her was kindness and acceptance. I spent a lot of time at their house with Carl playing basketball, cooling off in the pool, and helping Carl eat all their cookies and drinking their milk! She was cheerful, optimistic and encouraging with the occasional probing question that let you know that she was on to you for any adolescent shenanigans. My heartfelt prayers go out to her family.
