Rita A. Piso

Rita A. Piso (DeMaria), 90, of Milford, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loved ones at Milford Regional Hospital. She was born in Milford, the youngest daughter of the late Ralph and Angelina (Calzone) DeMaria, and was a resident there for most of her life.

Rita was the wife of the late Charles M. Piso who passed away in 1996. The marriage resulted in one daughter, Gina M. Piso, to whom she was especially devoted. She was employed as a nursing aide at Saint Patrick's Manor in Framingham before she retired in 2018. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

Loved ones recall Rita's strong personality and strength through adversity. She was also notably caring of others and looked after her mother Angelina and daughter Gina through their long-term illnesses. Rita was also the owner of two dogs, Pierre and Max.

Rita is survived by her sister, Mary Lamborghini of Providence, Rhode Island. She also leaves behind the family with whom she lived with, her nephews, Christopher and Mathew Cormier, alongside Christopher's wife, Barbara, and their children, Sophie and Camilla.

She was predeceased by her only child, Gina, and her siblings, Joseph DeMaria, Vincent DeMaria, Lucy Cormier, Nicholas DeMaria, Theresa Lizotte, and Angelo DeMaria.

Calling hours will be held Monday, December 22, 2025 from 8:30 to 10 A.M. followed by a funeral home service at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St Milford Ma. The burial will be private.
