Born August 9, 1922 in Gaylord, KS. Preceded in death by her father & mother, Edmund and Balbina Schneider, and a Sister, Nadine. Raised on a farm in Oakley, KS; she went to high school in Windhurst, KS. After which she attended Sacred Heart College in Wichita, KS receiving her degree in Medical Technology. After interning in the Kansas State Laboratory, she moved to Denver to work in St. Anthony's Hospital. After leaving St. Anthony's, she did the lab work for two North Denver physicians. Rita was a member of the St. Dominic Parish from her arrival in Denver until her death. She married Fred Stoll in St. Dominic in 1952. Children born to her and Fred are Judith Greenwood, of Denver; Peter (Deborah) Stoll, of Springfield, IL; Veronica (Doug) Janvrin, of Annapolis, MD; and adopted Marie Stoll, of Thornton, CO. She was active in the Highland Senior Center. Her activites included folk and square dancing, sewing, and service in her church. In 1979 she entered the Dominican Laity. Her Final Profession was in April 1982. Rosary, Wednesday, 10AM, followed by a Funeral Mass, both at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 3053 W. 29th Ave, Denver, CO 80211. Interment, Mt. Olivet, followed by a reception at Delmonico Hall, 32nd and Federal Blvd.Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Dominic Catholic Church at the above address and/or Hospice of St. John, 1320 Everett Ct., Lakewood, CO 80215.Please share your memories of Rita and condolences for the family by selecting the "Sign Guestbook" tab.
