Rita Frances Traynor, age 83, of McKeesport, PA, died on Saturday, November 22, 2025. She was born in Belle Vernon, PA, on May 9, 1942, and is the daughter of the late John and Helen Koto.
Rita is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Michael “Mike” Traynor, Sr. of McKeesport, PA; sons, Michael Traynor, Jr. of McKeesport, PA; and Derrian Galensky; grandchildren, Paul; and Layla; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bower of Munhall, PA.
In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Marie Traynor.
Family and Friends are invited to gather and honor Rita’s memory on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church, 310 32nd Street, McKeesport, PA, 15132. A burial will follow.
