Rito A. Diaz, 86 of Odessa, passed away on August 9, 2025 in Odessa, TX.
Rito A. Diaz was born in Escalon, Chihuahua Mexico to Anastasio and Luz Diaz on August 29, 1938. He went to school in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua. He married Domitila Tuda on February 10, 1956 in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua. He worked as a Roustabout for many years.
Rito is preceded in death by his parents and his son Jose Andres.
Rito is survived by his spouse, Domitila Diaz, 9 children, 1 brother, 1 sister, 47 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday August 14, 2025 from 1:00pm - 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Friday August 15, 2025 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery ~ Odessa II Section. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Julio Diaz, Ismael Alcantar, Jesus Alcantar, Miguel Padilla, Oscar Rivas, and Manuel Diaz
