First time I ever met River was in middle school or high school. We both ran cross country and our schools competed against each other. Everyone "loved" River and thought "he was so cute". As I got old, he team roped with Sloan all day everyday for many many many years. I got the privilege to met his world champ grandfather in steer tripping and all his family. I will continue praying for everyone throughout this time for peace and comfort. He truly was a great person inside and out.

I remember the night you and Chloe and Gary and I went out to Cowboys here in Abilene and we all took to the dance floor and had a amazingly fun and funny night. I remember the laughs, the jokes, and how goofy we all looked dancing in a small part of the dance floor. I remember us all smiling and having a fun night. Thank you for the memory and you will be so missed. Ya'll are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
