It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of River Cove Gregory, born on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Lees Summit, Missouri. Though River's time with us was brief, his presence has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved him deeply.

River was welcomed into the world by his loving mother, Melissa Troup; his devoted father, Jonathan Gregory; his sisters: Addison, Remington, and RaeLea; his grandma, Billie Atkinson; his grandma, Jessica Ham; his grandpa, Robert Troup; his grandpa, Michael Gregory; his great-grandpa, Robert Troup; his great-grandpa, Richard; his great-grandma, Mary; his Aunts: Jess, Alexis, Tricia, Taylor, Dottie, and Deanna; his Uncles: Randy Atkinson, Ryan Troup, and Bryan Gregory; his great-aunts: Angela, Jessica Foss, Amanda Salazar, and Stephanie Beck; his great-uncle, Matthew; his cousins: Isaiah, Elijah, Trever, Patience, Adilynn, Bentley, and many more; and many other people that loved him so much. River joined his family that went before him including: great-grandma, Vallie Troup; great-grandma, Lorrie Hayes; cousin, Mackenzie; great-aunt, Tonya Troup; great-aunt, Johnna; and great-aunt, Jennifer. In their hearts, he will be remembered as a precious gift who brought hope and love into their lives, no matter how short his time was.
