Robbie "Duane" Johnson peacefully passed away while fishing with one of his close friends on Monday January 16th, 2023. Duane was born on July 11th, 1966, to Ernest and Patricia Johnson.
Duane grew up on the Westside of Jacksonville, Florida in the heart of music. He was raised in the birthplace of "Southern Rock". His love and passion for music was influenced by so many great talents and friends but also came from a deeper-rooted place – His Dad. Duane was bought his first guitar at the age of 4 and spent a lifetime mastering his inherited talent and God given gift. If you knew him, you knew that he was so much bigger than his music; he was a presence, a light, and he left an impression you could not forget. His laughter was infectious, and his heart was genuine.
Duane is survived by his loving family, fiancé, children, grandchildren, sisters, and a whole community of "brothers and sisters" he touched. His family is deeply moved by the outpouring of love and is in total awe of how many hearts he reached in his life.
The Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 1:00 PM at Encounter Ministries in Orange Park, FL.

Duane will forever be our "Rock Star" and although he is no longer here with us - his music will sing in our souls forever.
