RIVER OAKS - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robbie Sprinkles, 99, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us peacefully to be with her Lord on Friday, November 15, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment to immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Robbie was born on January 28, 1925, to Florene and Clint Oats, followed by her brothers, Donny and Henry Oats. She was a devoted mother to her loving daughters, Debra Hankins and Regina Scott, whom she loved very much. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Haley Hankins, Laurie Reaves Barnett, Jason Scott, and Bart Scott; as well as four great-grandchildren, James Barnett, Logan Scott, Addyson Logan, and Lauren Scott.
Robbie had an unwavering love for Jesus and spent countless hours reading her Bible, drawing strength from her faith, and sharing her love of God with everyone she met. She was honored to lead some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the Lord. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved them very much. She had a sweet spirit and was known for her faith, wisdom, sharp wit, and humor. She was the center of our family and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Robbie leaves behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the minds of those she touched.
She enjoyed singing hymns, oil painting, housekeeping, spending time with church family and friends, and poetry. She also loved music and talking on the phone.
Robbie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sprinkles; her daughter, Regina Scott; and her brothers, Donny and Henry Oats.
We will miss Meme dearly but are grateful for our time with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
