Dear Buddy, Bobbi, Roger, and All,
Our thoughts are with you today. You and Bob have given us so many happy memories. Your visits have been highlights as I think back on pleasant times in my life. We still use the lamps Bob made for us in our guest room and at the lake, and they will continue to remind us of his gentle, quiet nature, and his joy in building and sharing what he made.
I would have loved to be with you today. I'll be praying that God will comfort you as you put yourselves entirely in His care. As Romans 8:32 says, "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" When our trust is in Him, our hope is not mere wishful thinking, but a sure expectation of being with Him and those we love at His return.
