Met Rob in 1981 at the USACC Outside Plant Branch where he worked. Always so full of life. Always Happy and smiling. We became good friends. He was always a positive professional telecommunications technician. He and Peter Rogers Senior saw that I had a great pig picking party before I left for overseas. I can't believe that my longtime friend has gone over the rainbow bridge. I am truly sorry I didn't get back to see him and his family after my military retirement. I am shocked of his passing. He will truly be missed !

Robert loved the Cape Fear River. He talked about his Dad often, having a home made speed boat his Dad was an Adventureist just like him. I met Robert when I was 14 and he like to show off his skiing abilities. We always had some good times on the River. I'll miss my brother. See you on the other side. RIP
