Robert L. "Bob" Anderson, a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, in Jersey Shore at the age of 97. Born on August 17, 1928, in the small town of Cherry Tree to the late Boyd and Violet (Miller) Anderson, Bob lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to his family and his craft.

Throughout his long career, Bob worked as a project manager and overseer for numerous concrete manufacturing facilities. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on those he worked with and the projects he managed.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Bob found joy in woodworking and had a particular talent for building toys that brought smiles to countless faces. His passion extended to restoring classic automobiles, including a Ford Model A and Ford Model T, which became symbols of his meticulous handiwork and love for classic cars. In his younger years, Bob also enjoyed hunting, relishing the time spent in nature and the camaraderie it fostered.

Bob's legacy is carried on by his two loving daughters, Rebecca J. Fleming (Harold) of Jersey Shore and Donna Siegler of Pompton Plains, NJ. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren: Julie D. Taylor, Leanne H. Young (Richard), Kenneth M. Calabro, Marissa L. Hassinger, Stephanie A. Fox (Michael), Thomas T. Fleming, Jennifer Ramirez (Conrad), and Steven Siegler (Marissa). His family further extends to 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by his warmth and wisdom.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his lovely wife, Jean Marie (Frye) Anderson, siblings James Anderson, Thomas "Bill" Anderson, Dorothy Elliot, Greta Pardee, and Marion Willits, as well as his son-in-law, Gary Siegler.

In accordance with Bob's wishes, there will be no public services held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, located at 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in Bob's memory.

Condolences and memories may be shared with Bob's family at www.rearickcarpenter.com, where they will be treasured and appreciated during this time of remembrance and celebration of his life.

Uncle Bob and Aunt Jean were a wonderful joy when we visited. A special couple. I will always remember his laugh and smile and how much he loved my Aunt. The definition of a true gentleman!

Bob was grandfather to my children, Julie, Leanne and Ken Jr. Bob, (Papa as they called him) was a quiet but loving force in their lives. He was a constant they could always count on. I am grateful that my children had their Papa for all these years. Ken Calabro Sr.
