Robert G. Anderson

Robert Glen Anderson, age 75, of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. He was born on March 14, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and spent his life building a legacy defined by family, service, laughter, and an unmatched ability to organize just about anything.

Bob was the devoted husband of Julie Ann Anderson, whom he married on June 9, 1973. Together they built a life centered on love, partnership, and family. Julie preceded him in death on May 14, 2025, a loss he carried with deep love and quiet strength.

He was the proud father of Kelly Hooper (Scott), Mathew Anderson (Elizabeth), Stephanie Lockwood (Jeff), and Sara Kubuske (Jere). His greatest joy was being Grandpa to his six grandchildren: Tyler, Alexandra, Cooper, Brooklyn, Adalynn, and Bexen. Bob’s family was his world. He never missed a chance to have everyone together, and he would drop anything to help, offer advice, or lend a hand - often starting with his classic line, “If I were you…” If something seemed over the top, you could count on his drawn-out and unforgettable, “Come onnnnn.”

Bob dedicated roughly 25 years of his career to ABB, where he worked in operations and supply chain. He was known as a natural problem solver with an eye for detail and a talent for keeping inventory, skills that extended well beyond the workplace. Spreadsheets weren’t just a tool, they were a lifestyle. From household budgets to grocery inventories and coupon tracking, Bob had an Excel file for everything. His home was always stocked, a reflection of both his professional expertise and his deep desire to take care of those he loved.

After retirement, Bob found the perfect fit at AutoZone, where he worked for several years. He loved the people, the daily interactions, and his role delivering parts and visiting local shops. It suited his social nature perfectly as he never met a stranger and genuinely enjoyed helping others solve problems.

Bob’s impact stretched far beyond his career. He devoted decades of his life to Little League in Wisconsin, beginning when his own children played more than 30 years ago and continuing in the years that followed. Over the years, he served as a coach, board member, president, and district administrator. He coordinated schedules, organized All-Star teams, and played a key role in creating memorable Little League nights at Brewers games. His leadership helped shape not only leagues, but generations of young athletes and families.

A lifelong Wisconsin sports fan, Bob especially loved the Milwaukee Brewers. As a season ticket holder for over 15 years, he treasured spring training trips, Brewers road trips, and countless games shared with family and friends. He was also an avid supporter of the Packers, Bucks, Badgers, and Marquette, rarely missing a game from his favorite chair. He was especially devoted to UW Green Bay Softball, following the team closely and taking particular pride in his daughter as head coach.

Bob will also be remembered for the simple joys that made him unmistakably him: a good long john, a daily Diet Pepsi, a glass of milk, and the satisfaction of a perfectly organized list. He was funny, direct, generous with his time, and the steady leader of his family, a man whose love showed most clearly in the way he showed up, again and again, for the people who mattered to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenroy Morris Anderson and Irene Elizabeth (Glanzer) Anderson, and by his beloved wife, Julie. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, brothers Paul Anderson (Sue) and Cliff Anderson (Sue), and many extended family members, friends, colleagues, and members of the Wisconsin Little League community whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Plantation Hall at the Cotton Exchange, 345 Hickory Hollow Road, Waterford, WI 53185. Bob was a devoted fan and supporter, following the team to road games, tracking stats and conference standings, and taking great pride in the players’ achievements. His family especially appreciated his enthusiasm, and he was particularly proud to see his daughter serve as the team’s head coach.
