Robert Lee Applegate of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025. He was born February 23, 193,7 to the late Thomas Lee Applegate and Madeline Elinor Hopper Howson. He was a retired roofer for CE Reeves & Sons and was very dedicated to his job.
He served as a paratrooper in the US Army and received an honorable discharge. He was a devoted Husband and father and cared deeply about his family. He had a passion for fishing.
Survivors include his son, Mark (Deanna Applegate) Daughter Theresa Applegate, Four grandchildren, Four great-children, 1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, his beloved wife Marjorie Applegate, his baby brother Paul Applegate, and his sisters Roberta Applegate Percifield, and Katherine Ellen Randon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd, 2025, from 10-12 pm, at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive Indianapolis, IN 46228. Funeral services will follow at 12pm. Please share a memory or condolence of Robert at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
