Robert Earle Aschenbach

Our wonderful hero Robert Earle Aschenbach was called home peacefully in his sleep at the age of 79 on October 16, 2022. He was born July 6, 1943 to Earle and Rose Aschenbach in New York. He proudly served our US Air Force in the Vietnam War.
Robert shared his life with his loving wife Doreen for 57 years, during which time they enjoyed such things as square dancing for 30 plus years and traveling in their RV. Together they nurtured their children: Tina Busby (Robert Busby), Todd, and Ginny (Jeff Skeem). He was our foundation and our teacher who taught us many life lessons.
He was loved by all who knew him, especially his grandchildren, Asaysha and Jessica whom he raised as his own. Also survived by grandchildren, Pilar Toines and Jaxon Edwards and great-grandchild, Eli Jennings. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Judith Seaman, and grandson Sheldon Toines.
We will be celebrating his life Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2 p.m. where military honors will be accorded at Lindquist ‘s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the mortuary.
