Robert “Bob” Lynn Babcock, 68, went to be with his Lord on April 18, 2025 after a battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 26, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Entombment will be held at the Sunset Mausoleum in Bismarck.

Robert was born on December 31, 1956, in Bismarck to Clarence and Frances (Licht) Babcock. Bob was baptized, confirmed and a lifetime member at Zion Lutheran Church.

He graduated from Bismarck High School in 1975. In the late 70’s, he played bass guitar in a few local groups but recently played for his own enjoyment. Bob never lost his love of music and guitars. He also enjoyed visiting with friends and family. He lived in the Bismarck Mandan area all of his life.

He enjoyed participating in activities and especially playing Bingo. One of his favorite activities was going shopping at the pawn and thrift shops, Dollar Store and Walmart. He had quite a collection of little treasures he purchased at these places.

He is survived by his sister, Penny Kunz; brother, Nick (Linda) Babcock; brother-in-law, Jerry (Deb) Herrmann; one niece, three nephews, one great-niece, five great-nephews and one great- great-nephew.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Herrmann; brother-in-law, Daryl Kunz; and nephew, Mike Babcock.
