Robert Barlas Obituary

Bob was born in Pittsburgh PA on April 21, 1958 to the late Joseph and Dorothy Barlas. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, his siblings Karen Barlas, Rose "Linda" Barlas and Joseph Barlas, and his fur babies J.J., Einstein and Truly. He is survived by his loving siblings Gary(Melissa) Barlas, Cheryl(David) Richard and Tim(Robyn) Barlas, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He leaves behind his loyal dog Jethro.
Bob graduated from Steel Valley High School in 1976 and immediately enlisted in The United States Navy where he proudly served from 1976-1980. Bob was a truck driver for most of his career with 45 years behind the wheel. He retired from the United States Postal Service in December 2024.
In keeping with Bob's wishes, no service or mass will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Leo J. Henney Funeral Home, Carnegie. www.leohenneyfuneralhome.com
