BARRINGER, Robert L. In Marlborough, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on October 2, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Catherine T. (McCluskey) Barringer. Devoted father of Bob Barringer and his wife Faith of Boxford, Brian Barringer of Sudbury, and Dan Barringer and his wife Kathy of CA. Dear brother of Richard Barringer and his wife Martha Freeman of ME, Helen Tanner and her late husband Phil of ME, Rita Finn and her late husband John of Cambridge, the late Walter Barringer and his wife Joan, and the late Paul Barringer. Loving grandfather of Julia, Brian, Thomasina "Thomie," Charlie, Lulu, and McCluskey "Mac" Barringer. Brother-in-law of Jean Barringer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, on Wednesday, October 8th, at 10:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours Tuesday, October 7th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, in the Funeral Home. I´m sorry for your loss. I know his nephew, Greg Barringer and I also knew his wife (RIP). I remember them from St Theresa´s various gatherings. They lived honorable lives.
