Mr. Robert Earl Bastian, 70, passed away Tuesday June 10, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 11, 1955, in Jamestown, NY to the late Earl Hilton Bastian and Ethel Mae Gibbs Bastian. Robert was an aviation enthusiast and was mechanically adept. He worked for Piedmont Aviation for many years, then retired from US Air in 2005 where he was a sheet metal mechanic. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed hiking, being outdoors, riding motorcycles, traveling, and boating. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kaye “Cha” Bastian; and brother, Kendall Bastian. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Fishel (Robert); sister, Kathy Moore; two nieces, Sandi Deeringhoff (Dan) and Roxanne Bastian; and two nephews, Jeff Moore (Julie) and Terry Bastian (Michelle). A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
