Robert Bayles Obituary
A Funeral service celebrating the life of Robert “Sammy” Sampson Bayles, 71, will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, February 24,2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home 943 Polk Street Mansfield, Louisiana with Bro. Chad Hardbarger officiating. Interment will follow in Pelican Cemetery at Pelican, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm service time Monday, February 24, 2025, at Rose- Neath Funeral Home.
Sammy was born on March 28,1953 in Monroe, Louisiana to Robert F. Bayles and Lucille Slaughter and passed away February 20, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Robert Shelton Bayles.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Trenton Bayles; daughter, Jessica Custis (Troy); sister, Virginia New (Bart); brothers, Frannion Bayles (Kathy), Gerald Bayles (Cindy), and Hervey “Bubba” Lindsey; grandchildren, Brandon Welborn, Caleb Bayles, Alyssa Bayles, Roland Bayles, Jonathan Bayles, Kaylee Lagars, Trenton Bayles, and Kolijia Bayles, with a host of step grandchildren.
Honoring Robert as pallbearers will be Gary Brummett, Shayne Gass, Jimmy Taylor, Richard Adkinson, Brandon Welborn, James Greer, Donnie Averitt Jr., and Vance Welborn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Tudor, Stacy Sneed, Ricky Melton, and Brian Melton.
