Robert graduated from Hartford High School as Valedictorian. He served 2 years in the Air Force and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Robert worked as an Engineer at General Motors in Lansing, and formerly attended the Free Methodist Church. Robert was a great storyteller, enjoyed fishing, and loved his kids and dogs immensely.
Robert is survived by his children, Benjamin Michael Beatty of Ypsilanti, Alexandria Clarise Beatty of Chelsea, and Nicholas Volney (fiancé, Carlie) Beatty of Chelsea; the mother of his children, Shelly Beatty of Jackson; and sister, Marilyn Beatty-Heldt of Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon.
Services are pending at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
