Robert Berkley Obituary
Dr. Berkley was born in Trinidad & Tobago the son of Paul Berkley and Everett Berkley of Trinidad. Robert has been a resident of Oswego since 1995. Robert served in the United States Army from 1986 until 1990 where he was stationed in Germany. He was a doctor of Physical Therapy, where he worked at Oswego Health, before starting his own private practice, Robert Berkley Physical Therapy in Oswego. He was a proud power lifter, and he loved to travel with his wife and friends. Robert will be remembered for his big smile, and infectious laugh, that would make everyone smile and laugh along with him.
Robert will be forever loved and missed by his wife Leslie Berkley of Oswego, children Jennelle Berkley of NC; Jack Marcus Berkley of Buffalo; Carina Berkley of Illinois: and Andy Blackburn of Oswego. He is also survived by his siblings David Berkley of Trinidad; Charmaine Lalavaries of Oswego; Debra Berkley of Oswego; Ishmel Berkley of Syracuse; Jeremiah Berkley of Fulton, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego

Robert was a caring therapist who had a wonderful sense of humor! He could make you laugh and forget your aches and pains! I cannot believe that he is gone. He was larger than life and our lives have all become smaller without his magnificent presence. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.My prayers are with him and

I am so sad to hear of Dr Berkley´s passing. He and his talented staff at Robert Berkeley Physical Therapy helped me so much before hip replacement surgery and after. He and his staff knew just how hard to push me and were always pleasant and fun. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and children and siblings, and to his devoted staff.

My husband and I were both former patients of Robert´s and he was always making us laugh and looking for the positive in every situation. He was always compassionate and loved his job. His smile brightened every day. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family that they find some comfort in their memories. Robert will be missed but never forgotten
